What Aivently stores, how long it is kept, and the controls you have — in plain language.
What we store
Your account email, your projects and their subtitle or transcript documents with edit history, an append-only credit ledger, and the files you upload for processing. Uploads go directly to private storage and are never public.
How long media is kept
- Successful audio and video uploads are deleted automatically 24 hours after the job completes.
- Failed or abandoned uploads are deleted after 7 days.
- Temporary derivatives — extracted audio, chunks, and OCR frames — are deleted immediately after finalization, never later than 1 hour.
- Subtitle and transcript results, with their edit history, are kept until you delete the project or the account.
Deletion
Deleting a project makes it inaccessible immediately; physical deletion is queued. Deleting your account removes your content within 30 days, except the minimal payment and ledger records the law requires for tax, fraud, dispute, and accounting purposes.
Support requests
Support requests include the contact details and message you provide. They are available to authorized Support staff and owners, included in your authenticated account export, and redacted when you delete your account. Resolved ticket contact and message content is also removed after 180 days; safe operational delivery and audit evidence remains.
Logs
System logs are designed to exclude your content and credentials. We never log media, subtitle text, passwords, or payment details.
